It's common to find a group studying sacred texts at Judea Reform or nearby: Torah, Talmud, and other works; Clergy-led and lay-led; on-site and off site.  No Hebrew required.

Torah Study

Join us on every Saturday morning from 9:00-10:30 for Torah Study led by Rabbi Laura Leiber, Rabbi John Friedman, or any of a number of guest teachers. Each session, the weekly parashah serves as the lens through which we hold a lively conversation.  The topics, such as social justice and family relationships, are as relevant to us as they were to our ancestors.
