Join us for the Refugee Resettlement and Immigrant Justice Initiative’s Passover Program “Stories from the Border: Modern Exodus and Refugee Resettlement.” You’ll hear from Congregants Marian Abernathy and Wendy Jacobs who recently made separate trips to El Paso/Ciudad Juárez and learn together about the present realities facing people trying to find freedom from persecution by crossing the world’s busiest land border. Madison Burke, Migrant Services Coordinator at CWS Durham, will share information on what migrants are experiencing here in the Triangle region. We’ll have some conversations and share some ways you can make a difference - both here and at the border. 7pm, Thursday, April 25, in person at Judea Reform Congregation.
