L'Arche North Carolina, a local nonprofit that creates communities for people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities, has invited Judea Reform Congregation and the wider community to gather for a weekly virtual book discussion in April.

We will be discussing the book, Loving Our Own Bones: Disability Wisdom and the Spiritual Subversiveness of Knowing Ourselves Whole, by Rabbi Julia Watts Belser. The study will take place starting on April 5 and will meet weekly for four weeks from 12:00-1:00pm on Zoom. During the weekly discussion, L'Arche NC staff will guide us through a conversation inclusive of different learning styles.
